We all see the world through different lenses. As a painter, I am interested in the dynamics of paint as a tool to investigate my perceptions and describe my surroundings. The continuous challenge and reward is to discover a cross-section, a shared perspective, a collective question. My practice is inquisitive. Through the act of painting, I contemplate, and occasionally begin to understand a piece of what it means to exist in the world.

The medium of paint allows an incredible range of expression, and I enjoy finding a place to reside and work between strict technique and unbridled play.
